Brisbane

Didn’t do very much yesterday, our final day at Maroochydore. The weather wasn’t quite as warm, probably only 21 degrees, and quite windy. A visit to the shopping centre for a few provisions was really our only outing. During the afternoon, the awning was rolled up (rather early for us!), but the caravan did get a good bath. It looks so much better with less dirt and dust on the outside.
This morning we packed up slowly, so slowly, but were still ready to leave by 8.30 am for the relatively short drive to Brisbane. We arrived at the Big4 Northside Caravan Park just before 10.00 am and didn’t take too long to get on site and set up. It is quite a large park (although not many tourists at the moment) with large sites complete with concrete slabs. Unfortunately, due to Brisbane’s water restrictions, the ground is rather dry. The sites have very steep driveways to back up and we were obviously not the first to scrape our stabiliser bars. We probably weren’t even the first to break the nut off the U bolt either. Of course, this meant we could visit Bunnings this afternoon, which made one of us very, very excited. We are even going to have to visit more nuts and bolts shops tomorrow, as well.
Today has been fine and warm and, being inland a bit, not as windy. Diane and her family are currently enjoying the warm weather in Cairns and Michael has been busy making friends with some of the locals.

I do not know if it’s just me or if everybody else encountering issues with your site. It seems like some of the text in your content are running off the screen. Can someone else please provide feedback and let me know if this is happening to them as well? This might be a problem with my browser because I’ve had this happen previously. Cheers
