Maroochydore
Monday, 10 September 2012
After a chilly overnight temperature of 5 degrees, Sunday was a beautiful, clear, warm day, and the Swans flag looked just great fluttering in the slight breeze. Carlene and Rex, who are staying at a different caravan park in Maroochydore, came to visit for morning tea – and a long chat as we caught up on the news since they left Cairns.
After lunch, we decided to do a recce of the area between the caravan park on the Maroochy River and the marina at Mooloolaba. We quickly came to the conclusion this was not such a great idea on a warm Sunday afternoon – 50,000 other people obviously had the same idea! After returning to the caravan park, I decided to feed the ducks in the park’s lake; also discovered the eels which were here four years ago are now four years bigger!
This morning it was time for a bit more retail therapy, with a trip to Bowlers Paradise. I was surprised how small in area the shop was but amazed at the amount of stock! We came away with new shoes and bowls bag for him and a shirt for her. Unfortunately, the local clubs don’t wear navy, so were unable to buy long pants and a rain jacket (will have to wait until we get home). We then had a quickish look around Sunshine Plaza (if that is possible), but will go back in the next couple of days for a more in-depth solo expedition.
Today has been cloudy and cool all day – the cardigan has come out of the cupboard for an airing and Cat has headed under the doona.

Toughen up!
Good blog post, nice efforts. It couldn't appear to have been penned any better. Reading this article piece of writing reminds me about my old boss! He usually kept babbling about this. I will email this post to him. Pretty confident he will probably have a high-quality read. Appreciate your posting!
