Tuesday, 8th June
Very cold morning, only 2 degrees, and it didn’t warm up much until after lunch. Definitely a jumper day, even though the sun was shining!
The morning was spent looking for the local Mitre 10 store (have to do some blokey things at times!) in search of a clamp for our table. Unfortunately, the thread was stripped on the bit that holds the leg to the base and the table did have the wobbles. It no longer wobbles.
We decided to fill in a bit of time and check out the view from Anzac Hill, in case it had changed in the last 12 months. It would appear to be greener this year and there are a few large puddles in the Todd River. A visit to the Post Office rounded out the morning.
The caravan park is very quickly filling up with lots of desert racers preparing for the Finke this weekend. I think it is fortunate that we will be leaving on Friday.
