Another beautiful day in Kiama – warm, blue skies and no
wind. What more could one ask for? It was also a wonderful opportunity to open
the windows and let some fresh air into the caravan, do some laundry and have
it dried and away by 2.00 pm.
We started the day with a walk along the beach and through
the enormous, well maintained caravan park, which extends right to the top of
the southern hillside. It must be like a
small town during holiday seasons. We
then visited the two blowholes – the little blowhole was actually throwing up
more water than the big blowhole! We
joined the large number of people enjoying the sunshine, “doing” the main
street and having an ice cream in the park.
It was lovely to have lunch outside in the sun; we even had a number of
ducks wanting to share it, but without success.
The afternoon was spent increasing the vitamin D in our
bodies, planning our route for tomorrow (Doris TomTom had it right first attempt!) and revisiting the beach. This has been a delightful stay.
