Well, we survived the cracker warfare last night, which seemed to go one non-stop from about 6.00 pm to midnight! Unfortunately, we couldn’t really see any fireworks in the sky. Our next door neighbours decided to brave the 85,000 people on Mindel Beach for a 20 minute display.

Today has been a real nothing day. The car had to be at the Mitsubishi dealer before 7.30 am for a service, with the promise it should be ready by midday. At 4.00 pm, Leslie is still waiting in the Mitsubishi showroom/waiting room. I have caught up on a bit of cleaning and computer work.

The worst part of the day? My new mobile phone has decided to lose 75% of my contacts! Aaaah!!! Hopefully, the nice man will be able to retrieve them from the ones actually stored on my old phone. Back to the Telstra shop …
