A very quiet day, with the patient having spent a comfortable night. A couple of happy pills an hour before attempting to get out of bed without falling over certainly helped this morning – the remainder of the morning was spent in a very relaxed and cheerful state socialising with fellow travellers and staff concerned for his welfare.
With the prospect of leaving tomorrow morning and only one of us being capable of the physical work associated with hitching up, it was decided to lower the awning this afternoon – one of the park’s staff members kindly offered to help. I’m sure there will be no shortage of offers of help if required.
At last the wind has abated, along with the red dust, and it has been a most pleasant day, weatherwise.
