| The other direction! |
Yesterday evening was spent in the company of our
daughter-in-law’s parents – we enjoyed a lovely meal with them at their home,
which was only about 15 minutes from where we are staying.
There has been a definite improvement in the weather today –
warm and sunny, with no need to chase the sun for warmth. Jenny and Brian picked us up before lunch and
drove us to Cleveland , on the south eastern
outskirts of Brisbane . We were surprised that there was so much
bushland so close to the built-up areas.
Cleveland
is a very nice suburb, with some very nice houses, and some very nice boats in
the marina. The weather was just perfect
for a walk along the boardwalk before lunch and a long catch-up – it must be
nearly ten months since we last saw them, so there was plenty to discuss.
We have had a very pleasant two days in Brisbane , eating and meeting!
